Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is partnering with a fast-growing accountancy to recruit a Part-time Payroll Senior for their Harlow office. The role is permanent, 3 days a week (roughly 21 hours) with responsibility for delivering high-quality payroll services to a portfolio of clients.

You will oversee end-to-end payroll processing, support junior team members, and contribute to the improvement of payroll systems and workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience processing multiple client's payrolls within a bureau or accountancy environment is essential.
• Experience using IRIS Payroll Professional or STAR will also be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process own portfolio of clients from start - finish
• Proactively manage client expectations
• Oversee year end processing & other statutory reporting
• Implement and maintain robust internal quality control procedures for all payroll processes where required
• Act as a primary point of contact for queries
• Assist with the training and onboarding of new team members
• Contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of payroll systems and workflows
