Job summary

Portfolio Credit Control is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage client payrolls across sectors and ensure accurate, compliant payroll services. You will deliver timely payroll processing, handle statutory payments, and support year-end activities in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

You will work closely with senior payroll professionals, develop your technical expertise, and benefit from hybrid working options and ongoing training to advance payroll qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in client payroll processing for multiple clients.
• Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
• Ability to handle payroll queries with accuracy.
• Experience with payroll software such as Sage, BrightPay or Xero.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly client payrolls.
• Manage statutory payments and auto-enrolment pensions.
• Handle payroll queries from clients and employees.
• Ensure HMRC compliance and payroll legislation adherence.
• Assist with year-end processes like P60s and P11Ds.
• Support process improvements within payroll function.
• Collaborate with senior payroll professionals to enhance knowledge.
