Job summary

Four Squared is recruiting a Payroll Assistant to join our growing professional services team. You will gain hands-on payroll training, exposure to a varied client portfolio, and the chance to develop into managing your own payroll tasks over time.

This permanent hybrid role offers a salary up to £28,000, study support, career development, and a supportive environment with opportunities to advance through the payroll function.

Qualifications

• Some exposure to payroll, finance administration or office-based administration.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Interest in learning payroll legislation and compliance.
• Strong Excel and Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Supporting pension administration and uploads.
• Processing payroll changes including starters, leavers and amendments.
• Producing payroll documentation including P45s and P60s.
• Liaising with clients and responding to payroll queries.
• Supporting year-end payroll activities.
• Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation.
• Working closely with senior payroll staff to develop your technical knowledge.
