Job summary

Four Squared Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an HR & Payroll Assistant to join a busy HR team on a permanent, on-site basis. You will gain hands-on exposure across HR, payroll, recruitment, onboarding and training.

The role offers up to £32,000 plus benefits, with 24 days holiday and pension. You will support weekly payroll, employee records, and first-line HR support while contributing to HR projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration or payroll roles.
• Payroll exposure using Sage 50 Payroll or similar.
• CIPD Level 3 qualification or studying towards it.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly payroll and resolve payroll queries.
• Manage HR administration and employee records.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviews and onboarding.
• Support employee relations and absence management processes.
• Organise training and maintain learning records.
• Provide first-line HR support to managers and staff.
• Contribute to HR projects and employee engagement initiatives.
