Overview

The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Payments Operations Associate to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. We pride ourselves in being a fintech challenger bank, providing specialist property mortgages, retail finance lending and savings accounts to a variety of customers.

Working in our Payments Operations team, you will support the team in creating and maintaining payments across each of our business divisions – Savings, Omni and Property. You will assist in the timely and accurate processing of payments via Bacs, Faster Payment and cheque, as well as completing internal banking movements within the required timescales whilst maintaining regulatory adherence and meeting Service Level Agreements. The role will be based in our Basingstoke office, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30. The role is offered on a fixed-term contract basis for up to 12 months in duration.

Responsibilities
  • Support the processing of payments across the Savings, Omni and Property divisions using Bacs, Faster Payments and cheques.
  • Complete internal banking movements within required timescales while maintaining regulatory adherence and meeting Service Level Agreements.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payment operations.
