Job summary

Prime Health is seeking a patient services coordinator to be the first contact for outpatient scheduling across NHS and private imaging services. The role requires coordinating with referrers and clinical teams to secure timely appointments and provide courteous reception support.

The position is a 0-hour contract with Saturday work, 8am to 8pm, and includes handling inquiries, reminders, and ensuring smooth clinic operations across modalities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for patients and service users.
• Schedule outpatient appointments according to clinical urgency and wait times.
• Liaise with referrers and clinical teams to ensure timely appointments.
• Provide reception and admin support including telephone cover.
• Remind patients of upcoming appointments and manage changes.
• Escalate issues to Team Leader when required and maintain patient-focused service.
