Job summary

Medical Imaging Partnership in Crawley is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients accessing diagnostic services. You will schedule appointments, answer enquiries and guide people through their journey with empathy and efficiency.

In this busy Referral Centre role you’ll support NHS and private services, coordinate referrals, and help ensure patients receive the right appointment at the right time, delivering an excellent patient experience every day.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills with confidence using multiple systems.
• Ability to prioritise workload and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient enquiries by telephone and email with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule appointments across diagnostic services.
• Review referrals and ensure they are processed accurately.
• Liaise with patients to meet appointment needs.
• Work with clinical and operational teams to maximise availability.
• Keep patient records accurate across multiple systems.
• Respond to patient queries and resolve issues where possible.
• Support patient pathways from referral to diagnosis.
