Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a full-time GP receptionist to join the Dashwood Medical Centre site, Northdown & Dashwood Surgery. The role focuses on patient reception, appointment bookings, and administrative support across Dashwood and Northdown sites.

Hours to be agreed at interview with potential cross-site work; GCSE English and Maths at grade A–C are essential, and training will be provided to suitable candidates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Speak with patients face to face and on the telephone to answer queries.
• Make appointments for patients.
• Liaise with team members and community services.
• Register new patients.
• Carry out reception and administrative duties.
• Ensure courtesy and professionalism for all contacts.
• Support smooth running of the practice.
• Work across Dashwood and Northdown sites as needed.
