Job summary

KIMS Hospital is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join the Front of House team in Kent. The role covers reception, call centre, OPD, and patient services, delivering a warm welcome and outstanding service to patients and visitors.

You’ll manage appointments, records and correspondence, answer calls, and support across departments to ensure smooth patient journeys and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent education.
• Previous experience in hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong customer service and administration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Organised, detail-focused and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritise, work independently in busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, visitors, consultants, and staff with directions and support.
• Manage patient appointments, records and correspondence for smooth journeys.
• Answer high-volume calls on the hospital switchboard confidently.
• Liaise with patients, relatives, consultants and staff and escalate where needed.
• Assist patients on admission and discharge with clear information and a positive experience.
