Job summary

Mount Alvernia Hospital in Guildford, part of Circle Health Group, is hiring a Patient Administrator for 30 hours per week on a permanent basis. The role focuses on delivering efficient patient administration, handling bookings, mail, and queries across the patient journey.

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs in Maths/English, good IT skills, and basic financial awareness. Previous private healthcare admin experience is advantageous. Salary is £24,947 per year FTE.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSEs at A-C or equivalent
• Proficient with PC and office software
• Basic financial awareness
• Experience in private healthcare admin preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Follow Circle Health Group best practice process maps to provide an efficient, professional and standard service to all patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Ensure all patient queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings received via the relevant system and update any booking received via email.
