Job summary

Maidenhead Primary Care Network in Thatcham at the St Marks Hospital Same Day Service seeks a friendly Receptionist to manage patient check-ins, appointments and enquiries. The role supports a multidisciplinary clinical team and upholds high standards of patient care while working Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.

You will be computer and IT literate with strong organisational and communication skills, able to prioritise workload and deliver excellent customer service in a busy reception

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner
• Check patients in for appointments using EMIS
• Ensure patient demographics are accurate and updated
• Respond to patient enquiries in person, by telephone and electronically
• Manage appointment bookings, cancellations and amendments
• Direct patients to the appropriate clinician or service
