Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Lincoln Private Hospital seeks a Patient Administrator (Bank) to support the Administration department. The role is bank-based, covering evenings and weekends as required, and involves handling patient queries, bookings and mail.

Applicants should have Maths/English GCSE A–C, strong PC skills, and may benefit from prior private healthcare administration experience. The position offers flexible bank shifts within Circle Health Group’s network.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent Level 2
• Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems
• Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Ensure best practice process maps are followed for a professional and standard service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Handle all patient queries efficiently and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings received by email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and apply appropriate measures for patients, visitors, staff and contractors.
