Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Business Support Officer to assist the Patient Safety Incident Management Team with day-to-day operations, meeting administration, and accurate incident data management.

You will support the Head of Incident Management, prepare agendas and minutes, and collate information for performance reports while handling sensitive information with professional discretion.

Qualifications

• Experience administering meetings, taking minutes and coordinating papers.
• Ability to manage sensitive information and support incident management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to liaise with agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Incident Management with notification, management and response to incidents.
• Administer meetings, produce agendas, take minutes and track actions.
• Collate data for performance reporting and respond to FOI/external requests.
• Provide regular updates to senior managers and support learning from incidents.
• Maintain filing systems and use DATIX/databases to support investigations.
