Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator to join the Planned Care team, supporting ENT, Maxillofacial & Plastic Surgery pathways across Reading and Henley-on-Thames. You will provide specialist admin support, schedule appointments, process letters, and liaise with patients and colleagues to maintain high-quality pathways.

The role requires meticulous organisational skills, IT proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced NHS

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high levels of customer/patient service in an administrative setting.
• Familiar with NHS procedures and terminology is beneficial.
• Proficient with IT systems including data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Team.
• Support the CAT in delivering patient-focused service.
• Schedule appointments and process clinic letters and other admin duties.
• Answer phones from patients, healthcare providers and internal staff.
