Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Patient Pathway Coordinator for Churchill Hospital, Oxfordshire, to provide admin support within the Urology service. The role is temporary for 3 months with a view to permanency and requires diary management, correspondence, and rapid data handling to support patient pathways.

You will work 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with standard NHS administrative responsibilities and use of Trust IT systems to register patients, book investigations, and issue

Qualifications

• Requires vocational level 3 qualification or 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience in NHS or healthcare administration is beneficial.
• Strong IT skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to consultants, clinicians and patients including diary management and correspondence.
• Prepare clinical correspondence and ensure timely delivery within 10 working days of clinical decision/delivery.
• Open, prioritise and action urgent items in absence of clinicians.
• Book diagnostic investigations and support RTT/Cancer waiting time targets.
