Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Patient Pathway Assistant in the General Surgery and Breast team at Basildon Hospital. You will perform a range of administrative duties, answer phones, manage files, and support patient pathway coordinators and management, contributing to a positive environment.

Role involves assisting with booking, waiting lists, and appointments, with a focus on efficient service delivery for inpatient and outpatient pathways. Full-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months NHS administration experience.
• Good IT skills; experience with Office 365.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team.
• Experience handling patient pathways and bookings is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist with inpatient and day case booking processes to support efficient scheduling.
• Manage waiting lists, clinic dates, and cancellations for consultants.
• Handle enquiries from the public and NHS staff with professionalism.
