Zusammenfassung

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Patient Pathway Officer in Basildon to streamline the patient journey in paediatrics. You will provide administrative support to clinicians, manage diaries, and arrange clinics in line with planned and unplanned leave.

Working Monday to Friday, the role requires solid NHS admin experience, strong communication with patients and clinical teams, and a proactive approach to meeting targets such as RTT.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in an administrative healthcare setting.
• Understanding of key access targets e.g. 18 weeks RTT.
• Demonstrates empathetic patient manner and communication skills.
• ECDL or equivalent experience with Office Packages.
• GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate diaries and appointments for paediatric clinicians.
• Cancel and reinstate clinics in line with planned or unplanned leave.
• Support Service Manager and Divisional Managers to deliver safe, effective services and meet RTT targets.
• Maintain a consistent administration service across the team.
• Liaise with patients, doctors, nursing and admin teams.
