Job summary

The Mill Practice in Dundee is seeking an experienced Reception & Administration Supervisor to lead our reception and administrative team. You will provide leadership and support to ensure patients receive a professional, efficient and welcoming service.

You will oversee staff rotas, training, performance support and service improvements while acting as a key contact for patient enquiries and operational issues. NHS Pension Scheme membership is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare, GP practice, or customer service environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support reception and administrative staff.
• Manage staff rotas, annual leave and sickness cover.
• Ensure effective appointment booking and patient access processes.
• Monitor reception and administrative workflows.
• Support staff recruitment, induction and training.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and information governance.
