Job summary

Optical Express Group in Plymouth is seeking a Patient Advisor to help patients feel comfortable and receive a 5-star service. You will enjoy a welcoming environment and a culture of care.

This role requires excellent communication, relationship building and organizational skills, with full training provided for diagnostic eye scans and patient journey coordination. The position is 40 hours per week with weekend flexibility; it offers bonus potential and a commitment to patient care, teamwork

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with patients.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
• Willingness to work weekends and flex to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Building a strong relationship with our patients
• Performing diagnostic eye scans (full training will be provided)
• Confidently relaying patient information to the optometrist to ensure a smooth patient journey
• Maintaining patient records with accurate and up to date information
• Arranging affordable finance options to suit each individual patient
• Schedule patients' consultations and surgeries with our optometrists and surgeons
