Job summary

Urban Practice in Glasgow is seeking a friendly, reliable Receptionist/Administrator to join our patient‑centred team. The role is 27 hours per week across Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 08:30 to 18:00, with flexibility to cover sickness and holidays as needed.

Previous GP surgery experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will be part of a supportive practice environment, dealing with patient queries and coordinating administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a GP surgery is preferred but not essential.
• Full training provided.
• Friendly, approachable, organised and reliable with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work at the reception desk and welcome patients.
• Answer and manage telephone calls.
• Process prescription requests.
• Deal with patient enquiries and queries.
• Carry out a range of general administrative duties.
• Support the wider practice team as required.
