Job summary

Causeway Medical Centre is seeking a Patient Care Advisor to join the reception team, serving around 9,500 patients across two sites. The role centres on directing patients to the right service by phone, in person or online, including booking appointments and handling messages from patients and clinicians.

Shifts run 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some Mondays until 8:00 pm. The post includes opening and locking up the premises; experience in a GP practice or primary care is

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and GCSE English are required.
• Experience in GP practice or primary care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Signpost patients to appropriate services by phone, face to face or digital platforms.
• Book appointments and manage general enquiries (new and follow-up).
• Liaise with patients by phone, email and text; complete tasks for practice teams.
