Job summary

Optical Express Group is seeking a Patient Advisor in Oxford, with occasional travel to Maidenhead. The role includes full-time hours, weekend flexibility, and a salary of £26,500 with benefits.

You will deliver a 5-star patient service, build relationships, and coordinate eye care journeys with clinicians. Training is provided to perform diagnostic scans and finance options, contributing to a caring, high-quality patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong relationship with our patients.
• Perform diagnostic eye scans (full training provided).

• Maintain patient records with accurate, up-to-date information.
• Arrange affordable finance options for patients.
• Schedule consultations and surgeries with our optometrists and surgeons.
• Travel to Maidenhead as needed (travel compensated).

Job Title – Patient Advisor

Location – Oxford (Occasionally covering Maidenhead when needed)

Hours – Full time (Must be flexible over weekends)

It’s our Patient Advisors role to make our patients feel comfortable and relaxed whilst providing a 5-star service. Our Patient Advisors should enjoy meeting new people and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with both patients and ophthalmic professionals alike.

Your day to day responsibilities may vary however a typical day will involve the following duties:

• Building a strong relationship with our patients
• Performing diagnostic eye scans (full training will be provided)
• Confidently relaying patient information to the optometrist to ensure a smooth patient journey
• Maintaining patient records with accurate and up to date information
• Arranging affordable finance options to suit each individual patient
• Schedule patients’ consultations and surgeries with our optometrists and surgeons
• This role involves travel to Maidenhead ( travel compensated )
