Job summary

Optical Express Group is seeking a Patient Advisor to join our Coventry clinics on a full-time basis. You will welcome patients, support consultations and guide them through eye health services, including discussing finance options, while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with the optometrist.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients and communicate with them before and after treatment.
• Assist in patient consultations.
• Scan patients' eyes using state‑of‑the‑art equipment as part of a full health check.
• Help patients complete health questionnaires.
• Introduce patients to their optometrist.
• Schedule treatment dates.
• Discuss finance options with patients.
• Accurately maintain patient records.

Job Title – Patient Advisor

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours

Salary: From £26,500 per annum + Bonus

Location: Coventry with occasional cover at Leamington Spa Clinic

It’s our Patient Advisor’s role to make our patients feel like a superstar from the moment they enter our clinics. Our Patient Advisors are often the first person our patient interacts with.

Every day will bring something new, but your day to day role will involve:

• Building relationships with patients and ensuring regular communication prior to and following their treatment
• Assisting in patient consultations
• Scanning patients eyes using state of the art equipment as part of a full health check
• Assisting patients to complete health questionnaires
• Introducing patients to their optometrist
• Scheduling treatment date
• Discussing finance options
• Accurately maintaining patient records
