Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to ensure a smooth, welcoming patient experience at registration and scheduling points. You will collect accurate financial and demographic information, handle payments, and support clinical teams with efficient access to care.

In this role, you will respond to patient questions, guide them through forms and ABNs, and maintain strict confidentiality while sustaining a positive, organized front desk and call-center workflow.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years related work experience.
• Experience with computer systems, including web-based apps and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Familiar with EHR software; bilingual in English preferred.

Mansioni

• Register patients for visits and explain the registration process.
• Process co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances; reconcile cash.
• Complete Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjust coverage.
• Instruct patients and obtain signatures on forms; manage document distribution and scanning.
• Counsel patients on non-covered services and ABNs; obtain required signatures.
• Monitor waiting area to ensure smooth registration flow and a positive experience.
• Respond to patient concerns; maintain confidentiality and safety.
• Assist in scheduling via calls, messages, orders, and queues; manage changes.
• Capture and verify essential patient information for registration and eligibility.
