Job summary

BrisDoc is seeking a Health Navigator on a bank (zero hours) contract to support patient services. The role requires excellent customer service and teamwork, with experience in busy healthcare environments preferred (training provided).

You will assist patients in accessing services, support reception tasks, and help maintain smooth workflow for patients and clinical teams. You will handle calls, signpost queries, manage bookings and registrations, and assist with clerical duties while remaining

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and team-working skills.
• Experience working in a busy, people-facing healthcare environment (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls within agreed timescales, ensuring a professional, prompt and pleasant manner.
• Signpost and prioritise patient queries in line with practice policies.
• Support patients with compassion and professionalism, including those who are distressed, bereaved or unwell.
• Book patient appointments using the clinical assessment screen.
• Manage bookings, messages and prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Register new patients on the clinical system and complete new patient registration packs.
