Job summary

Calbarrie Compliance Services is seeking a PAT Test Engineer based in Newcastle with a home base to service commercial sites nationwide. The role involves testing portable appliances, completing remedial work when needed, and reporting results with the support of our bespoke software.

You will work a 40-hour week with overtime opportunities and potential weekend work depending on client access. The package includes a £27,000 salary and bonus potential, with a strong earnings path as the business

Qualifications

• PAT testing qualification or electrical qualification is required.
• Proven experience performing PAT testing.
• Ability to work safely and follow safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out portable appliance testing across commercial sites.
• Complete minor remedial works where required.
• Produce accurate test reports for Quality Manager review.
• Collaborate with Technical Manager and Operations team.
• Use bespoke testing software for speed and accuracy.
• Work across facilities management, retail, commercial, education and local authority sites.
• Identify ways to improve testing software and processes.
