Job summary

Calbarrie Compliance Services Ltd is seeking PAT Test Engineers to join our Field Team, based from home in Newcastle and surrounding areas. You will inspect and test portable appliances on commercial sites, including facilities management, retail, education and local authorities, with no domestic housing work.

You will use our bespoke testing software designed for speed, with a method statement agreed with the client before site arrival.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical or PAT testing qualification
• Preferably time-served tester
• Commitment to safety legislation and training

Responsibilities

• Carrying out portable appliance testing across a range of commercial sites
• Completing minor remedial works where required
• Producing accurate test reports for quality checks
• Collaborating with Technical Manager and Operations team
• Using bespoke testing software for speed and efficiency
• Working across facilities management, retail, commercial, education and local authority sites
• Identifying improvements to testing software and processes
