Calbarrie Compliance Services Ltd is seeking a PAT Test Engineer to join the Field Team from a home base in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. The role involves inspecting and testing portable appliances on commercial sites, with overtime opportunities and potential for higher earnings on larger projects.

You will use our bespoke testing software and work on sites in facilities management, retail, education and local authorities, avoiding domestic housing work.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification or PAT testing qualification.
• Proven experience testing through and through.
• Ability to work safely in accordance with company policies and safety legislation.
• Commitment to staying up to date with current legislation and training requirements.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out portable appliance testing across commercial sites.
• Completing minor remedial works where required.
• Producing accurate test reports to be quality checked by the Technical Manager.
• Working closely with the Technical Manager and Operations team.
• Using bespoke testing software designed for speed and efficiency.
• Testing across facilities management, retail, commercial, education and local authority sites.
• Identifying ways to improve testing software and processes.
