Job summary

Calbarrie Compliance Services Ltd is seeking PAT Test Engineers to join our Field Team, operating from a home base in the Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire area (LU, AL, SG postcodes) and surrounding regions. The role covers the inspection and testing of portable appliances on commercial sites, with a focus on facilities management, retail, education and local authorities.

You will use our bespoke testing software, with a 40-hour week and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical or PAT testing qualification.
• Experience in PAT testing across commercial sites.
• Ability to work safely and follow company policies.
• Commitment to keep up to date with current legislation and training.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out portable appliance testing across a range of commercial sites
• Completing minor remedial works where required
• Producing accurate test reports to be quality checked by our Technical Manager
• Working closely with the Technical Manager and Operations team
• Using our bespoke testing software, designed for speed and efficiency
• Working across facilities management, retail, commercial, education and local authority sites
• Helping identify ways to improve testing software and processes
