Job summary

Norwood Electrical UK Ltd. is seeking a PAT Testing Engineer to carry out in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment in accordance with the IET Code of Practice.

You will liaise with customers across sites such as schools, hospitals, hotels and universities, manage time, maintain records, and ensure tests are completed safely and efficiently with weekly report submissions to Head Office PAT team.

Qualifications

• Experience with PAT testing and IET Code of Practice

Responsibilities

• Carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) per IET Code of Practice.
• Produce results which meet client and accreditation standards.
• Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• Liaise with customers to minimise disruption and meet site requirements (schools, hospitals, hotels, universities).
• Downloader process: weekly results emailed to PAT team at Head Office.
• Manage own schedules; adhere to start/finish times as directed by PAT Manager.
• Maintain good timekeeping and forward planning to avoid delays.
