Job summary

Norwood Electrical UK Ltd is seeking a PAT engineer to perform in-service inspection and electrical testing across multiple sites including schools, hospitals, hotels and universities. You will liaise with customers, ensure compliance with H&S regulations, and collate weekly results for the PAT team at Head Office.

You will need solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and reliable time-keeping; excellent route planning helps minimize client disruption.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform PAT testing in accordance with IET Code of Practice.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules.
• Strong communication with customers to minimise disruption.

Responsibilities

• Carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) per IET Code of Practice.
• Produce results meeting client and accrediting body quality standards.
• Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• Liaise with customers to ensure work is efficient and meets requirements across sites (schools, hospitals, hotels, universities).
• Download weekly results and send to the PAT team at Head Office; maintain time-keeping records and plan routes accordingly.
