Job summary

Norwood Electrical UK Ltd is seeking an engineer to perform In-service Inspection and Testing (PAT) of electrical equipment across various sites in the Milton Keynes area. You will ensure compliance with the IET Code of Practice and Health & Safety regulations while meeting client expectations.

Role requires effective liaison with customers to minimise business disruption, good IT skills, and the ability to manage a busy schedule across schools, hospitals, hotels and universities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IET Code of Practice for PAT testing.
• Ability to meet client quality and accreditation standards.
• Work under Health & Safety Regulations.
• Good communication with customers to minimize disruption.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and email.
• Able to manage own schedule and meet PAT Team deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out In-service Inspection and Testing (PAT) of electrical equipment.
• Produce weekly results and send to PAT team at Head Office.
• Manage appliance testing across multiple sites (schools, hospitals, hotels, universities).
• Plan routes and ensure punctuality and timekeeping.
• Liaise with customers to meet requirements with minimal disruption.
