Job summary

Norwood Electrical UK Ltd is seeking a field-based PAT testing engineer to perform in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment across sites. You will ensure tests comply with IET Code of Practice and Health & Safety regulations, then liaise with customers to minimise disruption and deliver accurate weekly results to Head Office.

The role requires good Microsoft Office skills, reliable timekeeping and the ability to plan routes and manage schedules across multiple sites, including

Qualifications

• Carry out PAT testing in accordance with IET Code of Practice.
• Ensure testing results meet client and accrediting bodies’ quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• Good Microsoft Office skills and email access.
• Ability to plan, manage own time and routes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT) per IET Code of Practice.
• Produce results meeting client and accrediting bodies' quality standards.
• Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• Liaise with customers to minimise disruption while meeting requirements.
• Plan and manage time, keep records of start/finish times as directed.
• Communicate weekly test results to PAT team at Head Office.
