Job summary

Norwood Electrical UK Ltd is seeking a PAT Testing Engineer to perform in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment across sites such as schools, hospitals, hotels and universities.

You will liaise with clients to minimise disruption, ensure compliance with IET Code of Practice and Health & Safety regulations, and manage your own schedules.

Weekly results must be downloaded and sent to the PAT team at Head Office using Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Carry out PAT testing following IET Code of Practice.
• Maintain professional handling of testing equipment and documentation.
• Liaise with clients to meet requirements while minimising disruption.

Responsibilities

• Carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) per IET Code of Practice.
• Produce results meeting client and accrediting body requirements.
• Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• Liaise with customers to minimise disruption and meet their requirements at sites (schools, hospitals, hotels, universities).
• Download weekly results and send to the PAT team at Head Office; use MS Office to compile results.
• Plan and manage own schedule; maintain good time keeping as directed by the PAT Manager.
• Identify potential areas of customer dissatisfaction and plan route ahead.
