Job summary

Norwood Electrical UK Ltd is seeking a PAT tester to perform in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment in line with the IET Code of Practice. You will produce quality results for clients and accrediting bodies while adhering to Health & Safety regulations.

You will liaise with customers to minimise disruption, manage testing across sites such as Schools, Hospitals, Hotels and Universities, and maintain timekeeping and file reporting to Head Office PAT team weekly.

Qualifications

• PAT testing experience or qualification preferred.
• Familiarity with IET Code of Practice.
• Ability to communicate with clients and maintain time plans.

Responsibilities

• Carry out In-service Inspection and Testing (PAT) of electrical equipment per IET Code of Practice.
• Produce results meeting client and accrediting body standards.
• Manage appliance testing in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Liaise with customers to minimise disruption; sites include schools, hospitals, hotels, universities.
• Download weekly results and submit to the PAT team at Head Office; manage own schedule and timekeeping.
