Job summary

Value Education Ltd. is recruiting a Pastoral Support Worker / Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in the Bolton area. The role focuses on supporting students with behaviour, attendance and wellbeing to promote positive choices inside and outside the classroom.

The ideal candidate will work with students needing additional pastoral support and will collaborate with teachers and the pastoral team to improve behaviour, engagement and attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in a school, youth, care or support setting.
• Confident managing challenging behaviour.
• Calm, patient and consistent in your approach.
• Able to build strong relationships with secondary-aged students.
• A positive attitude and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in education, youth work, behaviour or pastoral support are desirable

Pastoral Support / Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School

Location: Bolton area
Type: Full-time, Temporary / Potential Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £110 - £140 per day, depending on experience

Value Education are currently recruiting for a Pastoral Support Worker / Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in theBoltonarea.

The successful candidate will work closely with students who may require additional support with their behaviour, attendance, engagement and emotional wellbeing. You will provide consistent pastoral support and help students to make positive choices both in and outside of the classroom.
