Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a dedicated Pastoral & Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support pupils in secondary schools across Bolton and Salford. You will work one‑to‑one or in small groups to address behaviour, attendance and engagement challenges.

The ideal candidate has experience with young people in education or related settings, strong interpersonal skills, and a calm, patient approach. Full-time, part-time and long-term opportunities may be available.

Pastoral & Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools

Locations: Bolton & Salford
Salary: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience
Contract: Temporary / Long-term / Permanent opportunities

We are currently recruiting Pastoral and Behaviour Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Bolton and Salford.

These roles are ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, Behaviour Mentors, Learning Support Assistants, Cover Supervisors, Youth Workers, Graduates and other professionals with experience supporting young people.

The Role:

• Providing targeted support to pupils who may be struggling with behaviour, attendance or engagement.
• Working with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
• Supporting students within lessons and around the school.
• Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted member of the pastoral team.
