Job summary

Cannock Chase High School is seeking a Pastoral Manager to support the welfare and holistic development of students, liaising with the Pastoral Team to address personal, social and behavioural needs. The role focuses on Year group support and improving attendance and behaviour in a busy school.

The successful candidate will join an established pastoral team at an 11-19 state-funded school with academy status, committed to safeguarding and high standards of achievement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students demonstrating challenging behaviour or disadvantaged circumstances.
• Strong communication with staff, parents, carers and external agencies.
• Experience using SIMS is desirable, though full training will be provided.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support welfare and promote holistic development of students in specific Year groups.
• Help ensure high standards of behaviour, uniform, attendance and punctuality.
• Contribute to the school's Behaviour Policy and pastoral team activities.
