Job summary

Lift New Rickstones is seeking a Pastoral Co-ordinator to support welfare, promote positive behaviour and monitor attendance within an assigned year group. You will collaborate with senior leaders, safeguarding teams and external agencies to deliver tailored intervention plans and secure strong outcomes for students.

The role requires safeguarding knowledge, data literacy and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations, while maintaining a caring, non-judgemental approach.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or equivalent.
• Experience motivating young people and promoting high expectations.
• Experience using data to analyse performance and inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support to promote student wellbeing, inclusion and engagement.
• Monitor and support behaviour and attendance, including intervention and reintegration plans.
• Identify and support students at risk, including those with SEND, EHCPs or child protection plans.
• Maintain accurate pastoral, behaviour and safeguarding information on school systems.
• Work closely with families, staff and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for students.
• Analyse pastoral and behaviour data, identify trends and contribute to reports and improvement plans.
