Job summary

William Brookes School in England is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Assistant to provide day-to-day pastoral, behavioural and attendance support for a designated year group, closely with the Head of Year.

You will build strong relationships with students, families and staff, implement targeted interventions, monitor attendance and behaviour, and contribute to safeguarding processes to create a calm, inclusive environment that helps pupils thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral support or safeguarding preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day pastoral, behavioural and attendance support for a designated year group.
• Monitor attendance and behaviour and maintain records.
• Support safeguarding processes and promote a calm, safe environment.
• Work with Head of Year and pastoral team to help students reach potential.
