Job summary

Deyes High School is seeking a committed Pastoral Support Assistant to join our dedicated Pastoral Team, helping students achieve positive outcomes academically and personally. You will work with a designated year group, providing day-to-day pastoral support and acting as a key contact for students, families and staff.

The role focuses on supporting behaviour, attendance and wellbeing, identifying barriers to learning and contributing to targeted interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day pastoral support to a designated year group.
• Act as a key point of contact for students, parents/carers and staff.
• Support behaviour, attendance and wellbeing, identifying barriers to learning.
• Contribute to targeted intervention strategies and build positive family relationships.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral leaders and external agencies to ensure timely support for students.
