Colne Primet Academy is seeking a vigilant safeguarding-focused professional to support pastoral care across the school. The role involves working with staff, students and families to ensure wellbeing and safety.

You will contribute to intervention planning, maintain effective communication with carers, and collaborate within a multi-agency framework to promote inclusion and high standards of conduct.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or equivalent
• Experience of working with staff, students and parents within a secondary school or educational setting
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation
• Understanding of children with emotional and social needs
• Ability to build positive relationships through parental communication
• Experience developing intervention plans to support students with social, behavioural and emotional needs
• Experience of pastoral support for staff and students
• Experience working in a multi-agency setting
• Experience using SIMs and CPOMs is desirable
