Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a Bolton school on a full-time basis. You will support pupils with behavioural and SEMH needs and help promote positive behaviour in and out of the classroom.

The role involves 1:1 and small group support, collaboration with teachers and pastoral teams, and fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in schools, care, youth work, sports coaching, or similar settings.
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support to pupils.

  • Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential? Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a supportive school in Bolton on a full-time basis.

  • Position: Behaviour Support Assistant
  • Location: Bolton
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only
  • Contract: Full-time
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential

You will be working closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support within the school setting. The successful candidate will help promote positive behaviour, build strong relationships with pupils, and support them both in and out of the classroom.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support to pupils.
