Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a calm, patient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Bolton area. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils stay focused, and support their social and emotional development.

Applicants should have a relevant TA qualification or at least 6 months UK experience, be committed to safeguarding, and able to build trusting relationships with children. The role offers CPD and progression across Bolton.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant, Education, Childcare, Youth Work or similar qualification OR
• Have at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK, professionally or voluntarily
• Be calm, patient and consistent
• Have experience or a strong interest in behaviour support
• Be able to build trusting relationships with children
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be committed to safeguarding

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant | BL4, Bolton

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in the BL4 area of Bolton who are seeking a calm, patient and resilient Teaching Assistant to provide additional support to pupils who may experience behavioural, emotional or social barriers to learning.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and helping them develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards school.
