Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD in Bolton (BL4) is seeking a calm, patient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils who may experience behavioural, emotional or social barriers to learning.

You will work alongside teachers to reinforce routines, support emotional regulation, and help pupils develop confidence and social skills across the school.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant TA, Education, Childcare or similar qualification.
• Have at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK.
• Be calm, patient and consistent.
• Have experience or strong interest in behaviour support.
• Be able to build trusting relationships with children.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be committed to safeguarding.

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant BL4, Bolton

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in the BL4 area of Bolton who are seeking a calm, patient and resilient Teaching Assistant to provide additional support to pupils who may experience behavioural, emotional or social barriers to learning.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and helping them develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards school.

The role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation
• Helping children remain focused and engaged

The successful candidate will:

• Have at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK, professionally or voluntarily

• Have experience or a strong interest in behaviour support
• Be able to build trusting relationships with children
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be committed to safeguarding
