Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in the BL4 area of Bolton to recruit a calm, patient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with behavioural, emotional or social barriers to learning, helping them stay engaged and develop confidence.

The successful candidate will be calm, patient and consistent, with a commitment to safeguarding and excellent communication skills, and will support the school in promoting

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant, Education, Childcare, Youth Work or similar qualification.
• Have at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK.
• Be calm, patient and consistent.
• Have experience or strong interest in behaviour support.
• Be able to build trusting relationships with children.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be committed to safeguarding.

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant BL4, Bolton

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in the BL4 area of Bolton who are seeking a calm, patient and resilient Teaching Assistant to provide additional support to pupils who may experience behavioural, emotional or social barriers to learning.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and helping them develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards school.

The role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation
