Job summary

Woodfield Academy is seeking a committed, compassionate and highly organised Pastoral Assistant to support our behaviour and pastoral systems across the school. Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour, you will take a lead role in our Refocus Room and contribute to the wider pastoral provision.

Your work will directly support pupils during moments of difficulty, helping them to regulate, reflect and re-engage positively with learning.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in English and Mathematics to at least GCSE A*-C or equivalent
• Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures
• Knowledge of approaches to managing behaviour and behaviour modification strategies
• Experience of working in a school

Responsibilities

• Support our behaviour and pastoral systems across the school.
• Take a lead role in the Refocus Room and contribute to wider pastoral provision.
• Work closely with senior colleagues to support pupils during moments of difficulty.
• Help pupils regulate, reflect and re-engage positively with learning.
