Woodfield Academy in Redditch, Worcestershire, is seeking a committed Pastoral Assistant with safeguarding to support our behaviour and pastoral systems. You will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour, lead in the Refocus Room and help pupils regulate, reflect and re-engage with learning.

The role requires qualifications in English and Maths to GCSE A*-C or equivalent, knowledge of safeguarding procedures and experience working in a school.

• Support the school’s behaviour and pastoral systems under the Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour.
• Take a lead role in the Refocus Room to support pupils during moments of difficulty.
• Collaborate with Heads of Year and Pastoral Managers to promote positive engagement with learning.
• Help pupils regulate, reflect and re-engage with lessons in a caring, structured environment.
