Job summary

Jago Consultants is seeking a proactive Parts Supervisor to lead the parts department across two sites. You will report to the Aftersales Manager and drive KPI-focused processes, ensuring smooth daily operations and strong communication with the team.

The role requires prior main dealer Parts Department experience, excellent organisational and customer care skills, and a track record of effective leadership in a busy environment. OTE £25k plus bonus, 8:00–17:30 Mon–Fri with alternating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts department operation across two sites.
• Coordinate receipt and return of manufacturer parts.
• Ensure daily dispatch or stocking of goods.
• Ensure stock is received, checked and stored accurately.
• Bin and record parts and accessories correctly.
• Select items, progress and dispatch orders efficiently.
• Order parts under supervision of Aftersales Manager.
• Maintain up-to-date parts department records and cash controls.

Job description

Our client is looking to recruit a forward thinking, motivated and experienced Parts Supervisor to lead and manage the department on two sites on a daily basis, and reporting to the Parts Manager.

This is working in superb premises for a strong brand. Our client is looking for someone who can demonstrate being a leader of people. You will need to have a strong knowledge on Parts KPIs and processes, whilst being an excellent communicator and people person. You will be responsible for the Parts Advisors and all of the daily functions within the department.

Parts Supervisor Role:

• To oversee the parts department operation
• To co-ordinate the receipt and return of manufacturers goods
• To ensure goods received are dispatched or stocked on a daily basis
• To ensure that all stock is received, checked and properly stored
• To ensure that all parts and accessories are correctly binned and accurately recorded
• To select items accurately, progress and dispatch orders efficiently
• To order parts and accessories, under the direction and supervision of the Aftersales Manager
• To ensure that the parts departments records are kept up to date
• Maintain accurate cash and credit controls

About You:

• Previous experience of working with a main dealer Parts Department
• Good organisational skills
• Good customer care skills

Package:

OTE £25K – Depending on level of experience plus Bonus

Hours:

Monday To Friday 8am to 5.30pm and Alternative Saturdays 8am to 12.30pm
