Job summary

Jago Consultants client, a car dealership, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team and support the Workshop with a reliable parts service.

You will handle goods-in, parts identification, stock control and liaise with Service to keep technicians productive. A main dealer background and Autoline/Kerridge experience are preferred, along with a valid driving licence.

Typical hours are Mon-Fri with Saturdays on a rota; basic salary up to £24-25k with OTE £35k.

Qualifications

• Must have main dealer experience as a Parts Advisor.
• Autoline Kerridge experience preferred.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle goods-in, parts identification and order processing.
• Perform perpetual stock checks, stock rotation and returns.
• Liaise with Workshop/Service on parts-related matters.
• Prioritise workload to meet customer expectations.
• Support up-sell of vehicle health checks (VHCs) where applicable.

Our client is a car dealership who is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team.

Parts Advisor Role:

Working within a small team, you will be focused on delivering a modern and efficient parts service. The main priority will be to maintain a high level of service to the Workshop to ensure technicians remain productive, ensure electronic up-sell VHCs are completed promptly:

• You will need to be a strong all-rounder and understand all aspects of a parts department. From goods-in processes, parts identification, order processes, perpetual stock checking, stock rotation, parts returns and liaising with Service over parts related matters


• You will be customer focused, and able to prioritise your workload to ensure your meet customer’s expectations


• You have a good technical / mechanical understanding to aide your parts identification / up-sell technique

About You:

• To have main dealer experience as a Parts Advisor


• Preferably to have Autoline / Kerridge experience


• To have a positive, customer focused attitude and approach to your work


• To have a valid driving licence

Package:

• Basic up to £24-25,000 depending on experience – OTE £35,000


• Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am to 12.30pm
